Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist (CBRS) / Case Manager:

Job Description:  PVFC employs professionally trained staff to provide Community Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) and Case Management to children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with mental health concerns.  CBRS is an in-home and community based service where staff work one-on-one with consumers to teach them life skills and assist them in working towards recovery and resiliency in their own environment.  Case Management Services assit and link consumers to access services and needs in thier community. Hours are flexible as staff have the ability to set their own schedules.  Some of the hours with children may be provided in the evenings and sometimes on weekends as needed by consumers.   

Position Requirements:  Applicant must have completed a bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, education, or related field.  Social Workers must be licensed in the State of Idaho.  Hired employees must be able to pass a criminal history background check.  Those who provide CBRS services must be certified by the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association as either a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) or as a Child & Family Resiliency Practioner (CFRP).  This must be accomplished within 30 months of the employees hire date.   More information can be found at PRA’s website: http://www.psychrehabassociation.org/

Salary and Benefits:  Wage is based on experience and certification completion.   Benefits available for full time staff including:  Health insurance, dental, optical, reimbursement for cell phone, miles and expenses, paid holidays, and personal leave time.   Excellent training available for new staff and then for existing staff annually.
