Dave Sorensen, M.HRD, CPRP

Administrator

Education: Master of Human Resource Training & Development, Idaho State University.  BS in Psychology from Utah State University. 

Practice Specialty:  Dave works behind the scenes to manage the day to day operations of the company and support the efforts of all the great staff at PVFC.  He has worked in the Mental Health field for over 20 years; developing programs, working with community partners, and managing staff.  Dave is a recognized Parenting with Love & Logic instructor and is Certified as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) with the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA).
Personal
: Dave enjoys spending time fishing, golfing, hiking, and camping with family.  He is also an avid sports fan.

Sara Bigelow, LCPC, NCC

Clinical Counselor/Therapy Supervisor – Pocatello Office
Education: Master of Counseling, Idaho State University.
Population Served: Individual, couple and family counseling with children, adolescents and adults.

Practice Specialty:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  Therapy Supervisor.
Focus: Anxiety Disorders, Self-Mutilation, Depression, Mood Disorders, Trauma issues, and Social/Relationship issues.

Personal: Sara is a native of the area that enjoys spending time in the outdoors.

Robert DeWall, LCPC

Education: Master of Counseling, Idaho State University.
Population Served: Individual, couples and family counseling with children, adolescents and adults.

Practice Specialty: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Adlerian therapy.
Focus: Social Phobias, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anger Management, Relationship issues, Substance abuse counseling. 

Personal: Robert is a native of Pocatello and enjoys hiking, biking, reading, and spending time with family.

Brooke Golightly, LCSW

Focus: Social Phobias, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Relationship Issues.

Personal: Brooke loves to play volleyball, fishing and camping. 

Jo Van Kampen-Lewis, LMSW

Personal: Jo enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding and being close to nature. Jo is passionate about animals and the therapeutic value they can have.

Focus: Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Life Skills, Communication & Relationship issues, Anger Management, Parenting issues, PTSD, and Women's Issues.

Personal:  Cindy enjoys spending time with family, BBQ's, playing cards, board games, reading and being in the outdoors.  She also works closly with several service groups in the Pocatello area.

Renee Katter, PA-C

Adult/Adolescent Psychiatry

Education: Masters of Physician Assistant, Idaho State University.


Specialty: Adult and Child Psychiatry, Medication Management, Behavioral analysis including Diagnosis and Evaluations.

Personal:  Renee is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking with her family and dogs.

Specialty: Medication Management, Psychiatric Evaluation and Consultation for Children and Adolescents.

Personal:  Dr. Palmer enjoys biking and spending time with his family.

Personal:  Ann enjoys staying active by playing tennis, water skiing, and bike riding in the summer and playing racquetball, reading, and watching movies in the winter. 

Brittany Wright, LMSW

Personal:  Brittany is a native of Michigan but has lived in Pocatello for several years.  She enjoys hiking and camping year-round with family, friends, and her dog.   She also enjoys playing games, watching movies and arts & crafts.   

Liva Rigney, PhD

Licensed Counselor- Pocatello, Blackfoot and Soda Spring offices.
Education: Doctorate in Psychology, Idaho State University.
Population Served: Psychological assessment, individual therapy with adults and couples, and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults

Personal:  A native of western Idaho, Dr. Rigney has lived in the Pocatello area since relocating for graduate school in 2006. She enjoys reading, writing, music, hiking, camping, and travel.
