Mental Health Counselor/Psychotherapist

Job Description: PVFC employs professionally trained, licensed staff to provide individual, couples, and family counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with mental health and emotional concerns. Psychotherapy is a method of treating and managing psychiatric disorders, emotional concerns, and trauma through the use of evidenced-based psychotherapeutic modalities that focuses on behavioral and cognitive aspects of a participant’s abilities. We encourage all of our therapists to focus on clinical evaluation, resolution techniques, and specific treatment modalities that best meet the diverse needs of our consumers.
Position Requirements: Applicant must have a completed a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. At a minimum, therapist must have a current Idaho license in one of the following areas: Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LPC, or LMFT. As applicable, the level of licensure may require supervision to provide psychotherapy services as outlined by the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses and could be provided by PVFC as a benefit.
Salary and Benefits: Wage is based on experience and licensure. Excellent training available for new staff and supervision available for clinical license requirements.
